Hello and welcome to my blog.

My name is Dean Hume and I am passionate about beer! I started this blog because I am a keen homebrewer that is interested in learning more about this great, frothy beverage.

Ever since I brewed my first batch, I’ve been hooked. As I learn, drink, taste, brew and measure the different brews out there - I hope to share my learnings with you. Plus, with a surname like Hume - it seemed inevitable to name this blog “Humebrew”!

For my day job, I work at Microsoft on the Xbox Game Studios team and focus on delivering great games. I get to work on amazing games such as Forza Horizon, Deathloop and DOOM.
